A summer internship in Gintel will give you opportunities to explore cutting edge technologies made possible by the fast advances in both software and telecom standards, industrial initiatives, and frameworks. You will be working closely with our domain experts, sharing ideas and insights. The internship program is based on group work, typically 2-3 groups with 2-3 students in each. Assignments are often based on extending or integrating with Gintel software components or architectures, taking advantage of the rich existing eco system. Summer project often revolve around new and emerging technologies potentially relevant to current software products, roadmap or domain in general. Work is based on an agile approach with weekly sprints and fun and informal demonstrators.

Gintel is part of the summer internship program WorkationTRD in Trondheim, Norway. WorkationTRD offers a unique summer social program to all interns across the 25 participating tech companies. Activities include bouldering, Escape room, go-karting, beer tasting and more, all at no cost to interns! This summer program is an excellent opportunity to make friends for life and meet other interns in other tech companies in Trondheim. We and WorkationTRD will make sure you have an unforgettable summer in Trondheim.

Qualifications / experience:

  • Interest in and basic skills in software development.
  • MSc study at any level and program, but students in computer science, communications technology or telematics are especially encouraged to apply.
