“We’re looking for people with commitment and courage to create secure and sustainable solutions for millions of people”
Who are we?
DNB Greenhouse is an attractive, intensive and rewarding practical-theoretical programme. We’re looking for young tech talents who haven’t yet started their careers, or are graduating in the spring of 2023, who want to work and acquire more practical-theoretical expertise in the areas of development, architecture or security. We’d like you to be both interested in and proficient at programming, data or security, because we want to cultivate your talent.
The programme offers perhaps the best chance you’ll get to work as an internal consultant with all the perks of belonging to one company and being in a friendly environment with us, whether you choose to live and work in Oslo or in Bergen. You’ll be working in a part of the bank that puts culture, learning, diversity and growth opportunities at the forefront.
Why should you choose us?
We focus strongly on learning and experience sharing between programme participants. You’ll have the opportunity to further develop your talent in a safe setting with clear career goals.
Together with your colleagues, you’ll embark on a steep learning curve aimed at enabling you to master complex and challenging work tasks in the areas of development, architecture or security.
You’ll have your own mentor who will give you support throughout your time in the programme.
What will you get to work with?
You’ll get the opportunity to work with us in a wide variety of disciplines. Our programme consists of talented people who immerse themselves in architecture and security, having gained a strong grounding in development. This will form the basis for your further learning and career through Greenhouse.
You’ll work on development, frameworks and languages like Kotlin, Java, Go and Spring, to name just a few.
You’ll become familiar with cloud solutions such as AWS and Azure, and how we build applications and services that millions of people depend on with the necessary requirements for uptime, scalability, functionality and futureproofing.
If you choose to specialise in security, you can gain experience from one of Norway’s top security environments. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about protection mechanisms and architecture in complex networks and how detection and cyber security incidents are handled, as well as gaining insight into how vulnerability management, identity/access management and security training work in practice.
If you choose to specialise in architecture, you can work as an IT architect in the future, which means that you’ll both design and build complex, sustainable systems and services from scratch that will have an impact on all members of society and all companies in Norway.
What you will get when joining the program
The unique competence you’ll acquire through the programme will give you an attractive profile within DNB. The programme is unique in a European context, and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together with our partners. With us you’ll get:
the opportunity to be part of Norway’s coolest programme for newly qualified technologists.
competence development through theory and practice.
the opportunity to develop sustainable and secure services and systems together with your colleagues, who are a diverse and courageous group founded on trust, respect and responsibility.
responsibility for your own day-to-day working life and development with good support from your colleagues and the rest of the support system.
