Frontend developer in Arealize (part-time)
We are looking for part-time employees. 4th and 5th-year students are preferred, but your skillset is the ultimate deciding factor.
Arealize is a fast-growing tech startup working with architecture and generative design. Our product is a disruptive architecture design tool that makes the design process for floor plans faster, smarter and easier. We have an initial functioning application, pilot customers and a vision of scaling to being a worldwide leader in this new and exciting field. Therefore, we are looking for more ambitious and talented individuals to help us further develop our software.
Responsibilities and key tasks
At Arealize, our guiding principle is to always find the tech stack or area that interests you as a developer the most, and let you loose at improving and developing this with your coworkers. We want you to feel like you have ownership of the modules you are building, and be excited to work and learn more about these.
Co-design and implement Arealize’s frontend systems in a consistent and creative way
Participate in technical decisions together with the dev team
Manage own Epics, and take ownership over parts of the Arealize application
Research existing solutions to problems we have (we love new libraries)
Qualifications and relevant technologies
React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Babel
Git, PostgreSQL, consuming REST APIs
+ Experience with UI/UX and Graphical design experience
+ Experience with Three.js, WebGL or geometry (the math kind)
+ Experience/interest in AI/ML, generative design or genetic algorithms
