Digital Trainee Programme

Local Unit & Position Description

The DNV Digital Trainee Programme is a structured programme for graduates with interest in IT, programming, digital technology, UX design, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cybernetics and Software Development who want to start a career with us.

The trainee programme will last 18 months and will be individually tailored to each trainee to ensure that you get the right competence for your future role in DNV.  During this time, you will get the opportunity to work in different parts of the organisation an acquire in-depth understanding of our business. You will work with exciting technologies towards our target markets to solve customer problems and deliver sustainable results. The programme will also give you a chance to attend networking events and benefit from a rich offer of training courses that will boost your development. You will be a permanent employee of DNV from the beginning.

After an introduction to the company and our culture you will be working with innovative processes and exciting technologies in day-to-day business and in project work. Alongside job rotations and optional international assignments, you will develop a strong trainee network. Social gatherings and common training events will provide possibilities to share experience and knowledge with other trainees. Your development journey will be supported by a dedicated mentor.

At our Høvik office we are located in beautiful surroundings by the sea and can offer access to sailboats, kayaks, tennis courts etc. We have more than 30 activity groups for you to join, as well as gym facilities located on our premises. 

It is also worth noting that we offer free parking and shuttle buses from Skøyen, Lysaker and Sandvika.
