At Spacemaker we are split into autonomous teams to solve tasks spanning from mathematical optimisation and machine learning to web applications and orchestration jobs. All of these tasks have very different needs for technology.

In this course, we will give an introduction to two core tools we use to allow each team to be free to choose the technology they need. We will first look at Docker which allow us to package each application in a standardised way, then we will look at Kubernetes which we use to deploy and manage our infrastructure.

The course is split into short talks and workshops with the goal for you to deploy your own service into our playground infrastructure.
