Orkla IT – Summer Internship 2022

Every summer we recruit around 50 interns that will work across different departments in Orkla. Our goal for the internship is to be fun and exciting but also a place where our interns can learn valuable skills that will help them in their future careers. Throughout the summer there will be held social events and gatherings for the interns to also get to know each other in a fun, out-of-office environment. This will be a paid position running for 8 weeks between June and August. Some travel may be required in certain positions. 

In Orkla IT we are looking to hire 6 summer interns – 2 interns per division. Please include which division interest you the most in your application. 

Digital Supply Chain

Do you have passion and skills in Supply chain digitalization, process optimization or automation of IT management? Can you build your own app and make complex processes and technology easier available to employees or customers? Or do you assess yourself equipped with an above-average technical curiosity and ability to make any problem easy to solve and communicate to others?

Desired competence within Digital Supply Chain: 

• Passion for supply chain technology, processes optimization or IT management 
• Proven skills in use of information technology, especially in process automation and app development.  

Business Analytics and Data Management

Do you have passion and skills in either data preparation and/or use cases of algorithms? Can you pull out public open data and help us stich these to our internal data? Or do you assess yourself equipped with an above-average analytical and structured mindset?

Desired competence within Business Analytics & Data Management: 

• Passion for business analytics (eg. data visualization & design, big data, machine learning/AI).
• Proven skills in use of information technology for advanced problem solving. Preferably experienced in R or Python.

Sales & Marketing

If you are interested in learning how to create great customer experiences using market leading technology to boost the best-known brands in the Nordics, the Sales & Marketing team in Orkla IT may be the right place for you! The Sales & Marketing team works closely with the business building and integrating platforms, apps, web sites, ecommerce systems and marketing solutions and we are always looking for fresh ideas and new talent! 

Desired competence within Sales & Marketing: 

• Passion for understanding consumer journey with a special interest for sales & marketing
• Eager to learn how to build apps and frontend user experiences 

We are looking for summer interns to join us at our Group HQ at Skøyen this summer to work within Orkla IT. You will work in a project team and individual assignments that will focus on an actual project with concrete objectives and deliverables. You will receive constant feedback and get the chance to work on real life projects and with products. We want you to think creatively and have the chance to apply your theoretical knowledge in a fun and practical way. Details on specific assignments and projects will come after the intern selection process is complete.  

Fluency in one Scandinavian language is required. 

Who are you?

• Master’s student within Business field or Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Civil Economics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Desire to learn from and work within.
